Do not fear failure but rather fear not trying." -Roy T. Bennett

How I Got Here

In 2022, I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from West Virginia University. Throughout my final two years of undergraduate studies, I undertook internships at a nearby NASA facility, focusing on research and development in Static Code Analysis (SCA). Balancing part-time and full-time commitments, I pursued this opportunity until completing my degree. Following graduation, I seamlessly transitioned into a Master's Program in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University. In August 2023, I successfully graduated from Purdue and immediately embarked on a full-time role at Aon, where I currently serve as a Computer Science Litigation Consultant.

My Values & Beliefs

Hardwork

At the outset of my engineering studies, I encountered challenges with my mathematics courses. It was not a subject that came easily to me. To overcome this deficit, I began attending tutoring sessions, making use of office hours, and dedicating every evening to reviewing class materials. It was demanding, but rewarding as I figured out how to approach math in a way that I could understand. Now, whenever I encounter unfamiliar territory, I simply invest the necessary time and effort until I grasp the subject matter.

Practice Empathy

“It is an absolute human certainty that no one can know his own beauty or perceive a sense of his own worth until it has been reflected back to him in the mirror of another loving, caring human being.” -John Joseph Powel

Accountability

I have found that the hardest person to hold accountable is yourself. Sometimes it's a little uncomfortable, it's certainly not very fun, but holding yourself accountable allows you to set reasonable expectations for others and encourages self-reflection before decision making.

Lifelong Learning

I love learning! Approaching life with a sense of curiosity and a thirst for knowledge makes everyday a potential opportunity. Feel free to send me documentary reccomendations, fun facts, or anything else you'd like to share!

How I Spend My Free Time

My favorite thing to do is settle in with a sweet treat and a documentary. To me, documentaries are like speed-running a topic in an interesting and compelling way. Similarly, I am also a big fan of non-fiction novels, but documentaries require less brain-power. I also like to create digital art, and have recently been spending my time planning my upcoming wedding.
